Job description, responsibilities and duties:

We are looking to employ a full-time Web Developer, starting immediately, to strengthen our team in Bratislava.
Tasks include:
- construction/conception/development/design of websites
- implementation of PHP 5, (X)HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript including Mobile Web applications (possibly app development)
- maintenance and expansion of existing websites
- search engine optimisation

Personality requirements and skills:

Along with enthusiasm, the following skills are required:
- Competence in HTML, PHP, CSS, TypoScript, JS, JQuery, Ajax and MySQL using Linux and Apache
- Experience of using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- Several years of practical experience in the online sector
- Sound knowledge of open-source products such as Contenido, Joomla and Typo3/Flex
- Experience of using software frameworks (Symfony, Zend, pimcore), e-commerce applications (Magento, xt:Commerce, osCommerce, ZenCart) and CRM and blog systems
- Extensive knowledge of Linux web servers
- Knowledge of German an advantage
- Written and spoken fluently in English

You are a quick thinker, a self-starter and able to work under pressure. Your creativity, targeted approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently enable you to deal confidently with even difficult tasks, take unforeseen challenges in your stride and tackle them in a flexible manner. You are able to implement web concepts independently and without technical difficulty.
